…and I immediately thought of all those visual essay projects and essays many of you composed about body image issues and eating disorders and the media’s role in all that. I wasn’t going to post it, but after re-reading your essays (because I read them like a hundred times) I decided that I will.

It may or may not resonate with you. It’s not some heart-wrenching or shocking story. It’s not about the media’s Photoshopping habits or models eating cotton balls to stave off hunger.  It’s told from a perspective that you probably haven’t considered a whole lot, what with you being teenagers and all.

I think it’s pretty great and thought I’d share it.
